Avoiding Frauds and Scams

Cedar Lake Village Worship and Life Center

Did you know that individuals aged 60 and above are primary targets for scammers? In this seminar, we will review the information from the FBI's most recent Elder Fraud Report and identify the reasons why this demographic is targeted. We will discuss in detail the scams and frauds that are most popular with scammers and why. Then we will identify ways you can protect yourself from the various types of fraud. Bring your stories and questions. One of the best ways to learn is from sharing experiences. Presenter is Lori Wilkerson, Vice President of Private Banking, Farmers Bank of Kansas City. Farmers Bank of Kansas City has a branch location right inside Cedar Lake Village.  Farmers Bank of Kansas City believes in the importance of providing information to their customers and the community. They are locally owned with true local decision making, that makes a difference for their customers.
