We appreciate the care and concern our families and friends are showing towards us at Cedar Lake Village. At this time we are restricting all non-essential visits from family and friends. All healthcare workers and essential visitors must enter through the main entrance and follow our hand sanitizer and check in screening protocol. While we know these are tough times for everyone, we are encouraging family and friends to take advantage of the Good Samaritan Society’s Send a Note service (https://www.good-sam.com/loc…/cedar-lake-village/send-a-note) and our staff are here to assist with Facetime or Skype video calls with your loved one. Please contact Cheyenne at (913) 780-9916 if you’d like to know more about how to set up a video call with your loved one. If you need to drop off supplies to a resident, please enter through the main entrance and maintain a 6 ft. distance during the short drop off visit.
Cedar Lake Village is accepting donations of hand sanitizers (at least 60% alcohol per the CDC), masks (surgical and N95), toilet paper, Clorox or Lysol wipes (or generic brands), Lysol disinfectant spray, paper towels, facial tissues, and other personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety goggles, gloves and booties. We are also in need of adult briefs and incontinence supplies. Donations will be dispersed between all Good Samaritan Society locations in the Olathe area. If you have any of these items to donate, please drop them off at the main entrance of Cedar Lake Village located at 15329 S. Lone Elm Rd in Olathe between the hours of 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. 7 days a week.
The kindness and compassion of our community is a shining light throughout our current pandemic. We are accepting cards, words of encouragement, children’s art, fresh flowers, or anything else that might brighten our residents’ days.
