Community Support in light of COVID-19

At Cedar Lake Village, we have been so blessed by our local community and businesses.  We appreciate all of the donations, cards, flowers, care packages, hand sanitizer, PPE, handmade masks, etc. we have received from community partners and businesses throughout the metro area.  There are countless other individuals who have donated snacks and beverages for staff and residents and other items that are not pictured here.  We feel so loved!

Kendri Burkett with Mary Kay donated care packages for residents with positive notes, lotions, and word puzzle books; along with a Satin Hands kit for our employee break room and a big package of toilet paper!

Anytime Fitness (Olathe, KS) was also kind to donate rolls of toilet paper, paper towels and foaming hand sanitizer they won’t be using while their gym is closed.

A.L. Huber put out an ask on our behalf for donations via their social media accounts. An anonymous donor reached out to them and provided us with 30 – 2 liter bottles of hand sanitizer, and A.L. Huber graciously volunteered to go pick them up and deliver them to us!

Bailey and Mackenzie with Good Shepherd Hospice painted decorations on the windows of our Memory Care residents! This was a creative way to share some Springtime joy!

Thank you to Hen House at College and Quivira and Carl Hinson for coordinating a donation of these lovely floral bouquets! Each of the ladies at Cedar Lake Village celebrating birthdays in March and April received a bouquet!  They also delivered bouquets to our sister community, Good Samaritan Society – Olathe.

Thank you to April and her handsome helper with Faith Home Healthcare for delivering a delicious breakfast for our staff and decorating the windows of Assisted Living residents!

Thank you to Brandy with Partners in Primary Care – Olathe, KS for dropping off donations of individual carnations and cards to help our residents feel honored and loved for Mother’s Day.

Church of the Harvest in Olathe donated care packages with various treats and items for our residents.

Our residents and staff are so appreciative of all the kindness and goodwill being shared with us from our community!
